About us

The Laboratory of Pathobiology and Genetics of Pardis was established in 1999 by a group of faculty members of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences with the aim of improving the quality of services in the field of laboratory sciences, as well as obtaining the satisfaction of respectable patients by providing exceptional services. In this respect, and due to the advancement of technology in the field of laboratory sciences and the specialization of its various branches, as well as the need for the medical community to provide accurate clinical reports, the campus’s medical and genetic diagnostic laboratory is guided by a team of specialists from various disciplines of these sciences. Pardis is the largest private lab east of the country. Nearly 150 laboratories from across Iran and neighboring countries, such as Iraq and Afghanistan, collaborate with the center and use diagnostic services of Pardis. The laboratory has an infrastructure of over 1,300 square meters, and its environment provides a relaxed atmosphere for the personnel and patients. It should be noted that all sectors comply with the standards in the diagnostic laboratories.

The laboratory consists of several departments, including genetics (molecular and cytogenetic), metabolic, hematology, serology, microbiology, biochemistry, immunology, pathology, hormone, urine analysis and sperm analysis. In all of these areas, routine laboratory services and specialized tests are requested by the respected doctors. With the aim to provide the best quality in clinical trials, Pardis Laboratory uses the most experienced personnel in its technical staff. Currently, more than 100 university graduates with different degrees, including graduates of laboratory sciences and related fields, with master’s degree, doctoral and pathologist, are working at the center. Laboratory personnel have completed several courses in relation to their specialized fields at home and abroad with means to deliver better services to reputable patients. In addition to the presence of experienced staff, the laboratory deems important to utilize the latest equipment, material and valid kits such as Roche and Siemens ones in order to achieve its goals to provide the best results and services for the patients. When choosing kits, the most important indicator is their desirable quality.

To achieve the best quality control, if necessary, kits are purchased directly from companies like Siemens and Roche. In terms of modern equipment, some of the best devices used in the lab include: Hi-tech Elisa Processors (Germany Human), Cobas e411 devices (German Roche), Cobas 6000 Automation Devices (German Roche), Immulite 2000 xpi devices (German Siemens), cruise device (Italy Chorus), HPLC machines (America Agilent), GC device (Korea Younglin), RT_PCR devices (ABI US), Blood Gas Machine (Techno Medica Japan), Tissue Processor (Histolytica Italy), Cell counter systems Sysmex XT-1800 and XT-1000i (Sysmex Japan), Compact max coagulant auto analyzer (Stago France), Hemoglobin and Capillary II Protein Analyzers (Sebia France), biochemical auto analyzers with a capacity of about 2.000 tests per hour One of the active departments of the Lab is the Quality Control Department. Quality control is completed in a national, inter-laboratory and in-vitro method.
